roomsDB.net for Hong Kong is online!

Hello everybody,

I just finished working on hongkong.roomsDB.net ! The site is now online and hopefully it will become successful as well. Just like the Taiwanese site it is both in English and in Chinese.

Also new: http://www.roomsDB.net

Now since I have three versions of roomsDB.net online, I guess it was about time for a selection page. I tried to design it as clear and simple as possible, just like the real site.

My next targets: Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia. Keep expecting more roomsDB sites soon….

Hitcounter

Hi there,

just added a hitcounter on the Singaporean site. Now within the details of a posting, you can see how many times it has been viewed.

taiwan.roomsDB.net goes online!

Hello there,

I have been working on this like crazy for the past weeks, but now it is finally online: taiwan.roomsDB.net ! The Taiwanese version of roomsDB.net! So what is different from the Singaporean version? Well, not much. But there is a nice feature that I added to this version. Taiwanes who add their rooms to the site can now *input* their ad in multiple languages, which would be Chinese and English. So when the user switches between the languages, the postings will swith their language as well!

Really looking forward to see how the Taiwanese will like the site!

Yes! Number 1 on yahoo!

OH my god, that is great news! I recently checked my stats and wondered why I got so many visitors from yahoo recently. Now I know. Type in “room rental Singapore” and guess what pops out as number 1 search result?? Yeah, right! singapore.roomsDB.net ! Fantastic!!

Now I just have to convince google to do the same, but roomsDB.net is still invisible on google. Ahhhh….that is really a pitty. Hope this might change sometime in the future. I need more links to my site, definetly!

Digital Clock

Hi,

I just added a digital clock to all pages on the top left corner. It displays Singaporean time (GMT +8). I think that is quite useful, especially for people who don’t come from Singapore and wonder what time it is over there and when the person that the user just sent an email to might respond…

Hello world!

This is my first post on this roomsDB.net development blog! I think now it is about time to check the “About” section above, don’t you think so? 😉 More to come soon!
